A note from Mike:
"I compiled the information on this work sheet in an attempt to establish guidelines for a decision on what size Genoa to purchase as well as to have measurements to provide a sailmaker. The boat measurements were taken by me and are as accurate as I could make them based on our 1983 M-17. The McKibbon, Kern and Stock main measurements were taken by me with the sails spread out on the floor. All other genoa measurements were base on standard LP ratio calculation base on the J measurement of 6' 7" and the maximum furl distance available. (less some room for stretch). The furler measurements are what I used to cut the foil to length and are the actual measurements that I have used on my boat."
